Margherita’s winery is placed in the heart of Roero, in Castagnito village, at the left of the Tanaro river.

The Roero owes his name to an ancient Noble family from Asti, who settled in this area around the 16th century.

The land is characterized by sweet hills and rugged hills (rocche), full of minerals that guarantee a high minerality into the wines, making them unique and recognizable.

These hills, crammed in a little space, shall ensure in a hundred meters the climate can change in humidity, temperature and radiation, so two close vineyards could be different.

Since 2014 the Roero, with Langhe and Monferrato, is become part of the world heritage list of UNESCO
